Autumnal days are packed with beautiful jewel tones and colour wise (I have to confess) happens to be my favourite of the seasons.  Foliage rarely gets a chance to shine centre stage as it does during these months, while we still get to enjoy the late summer flowers as long as the weather holds out and the frost doesn't visit.
